ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks allotment of a dwelling house. It appears that vacant houses are presently available. But then, it is for the first respondent to take a call in the matter.

3.The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation before the first respondent. The first respondent will consider the petitioner's request. If after applying the relevant norms, the petitioner is found eligible, an order shall be passed to that effect. The Slum Clearance Board is prepared to abide by the order to be passed by the District Collector. The District Collector, Theni shall pass an order on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve weeks from the date of submission of a fresh application. 2/4
