Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to carry out necessary corrections in the Filed Map pertaining to land comprised in S.No. 332/12 situated at Perungudi Village, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 27.12.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction against the second respondent/Tahsildar, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District, to carry out necessary corrections in the Field Map, with respect to S.No. 332/12, at Perungudi Village, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner had given a representation on 27.12.2022.
2.On the earlier occasion, when the writ petition was came up for consideration, it had been noted that the common pathway is shown as southern side instead of northern side and the petitioner's property survey number is S.No.332/11B.

3.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that the mother of the petitioner had executed a settlement deed in his favour, which was registered as Doc.No.5673/1999 on 15.07.1999, registered in the Office of Sub Registrar, Thiruparankundram. The four boundaries of the properties are:
North: Common Pathway property of Singarathammal Vagaira East: Street South:Petitioner property North:Andichaiammal and Nagammal property.
4.It had been further stated that in the FMB, northern and southern boundaries have been given interchangeably. In that regard, the petitioner had given a representation. In addition to this, the Village Administrative Officer, Perungudi Village, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District/fifth respondent had also issued a certificate by giving the correct position and the boundaries.

5.A direction is issued to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District, to issue notice to the petitioner herein, consequent to the representation, dated 27.12.2022 and also examine the certificate issued by the fifth respondent/ Village Administrative Officer, Perungudi Village, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District and if required, direct the Head Surveyor, Thirupparakundram Taluk, Madurai District/fourth respondent to conduct a spot inspection in the property of the petitioner. Thereafter, if there is a mistake in the FMB (Field Map), correct the same. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs.
