No.621 of 2020:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to grant extension of time for further 6 months to file the final report as directed by this Hon ble Court Crl.OP(MD)No.3889 of 2018. Prayer in CRL OP(MD).No.3889 of 2018 :

Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Hon'ble Court to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No. 3/2018 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same as illegal in so for as the petitioner is concerned.

ORDER:- Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. S.Chandrasekar, Additional Public Prosecutor On Behalf of the Petitioner, Mr.Mr.R.Gandhi, Advocate For the 1st Respondent, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No. 3889 of 2018 dated 16.09.2019.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this Court by an order dated 16.09.2019 has directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report within https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD). No.621 of 2020 a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. He would also submit that the case relates to the fake death certificate and forged life certificate and the documents were sent to the forensic lab for expert opinion. He would also submit that investigation involves obtaining documents from the Tahsildhar and sending them for expert opinion. Hence he seeks further time of six months to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3. The respondent has no objection in granting further time to the respondent police to file the final report.

4. In view of the same, the time frame in Crl.O.P(MD) No.3889 of 2018 dated 16.09.2019 is further extended by six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
