ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1531 of 2017 within the stipulated time.
2.Heard Mr. T. Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Prabu Ramachandran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the wife of one Manoharan and she gave a complaint before the second respondent on 02.08.2017 as her husband was missing. She further submitted that there after a representation has been sent on 11.12.2017, but so far the respondents have not traced out the petitioner's husband and hence she was forced to file the present petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) has submitted that a paper publication has been made in all the leading daily newspapers and a letter also has been sent to all the police stations in Tamil Nadu. He further submitted that the second respondent is taking all sincere efforts to trace out the said Manoharan.
5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file the final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
