ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.27 of 2017 at early.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent herein has registered a case on 10.07.2017 in Crime No.27 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 323, 406, 506(i) of I.P.C., and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. But, thereafter the respondent has not taken any steps for filing final report.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) has submitted that the investigation is in progress and final report will be filed within three months.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
