ORDER
By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2.This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to issue legal heir certificate of the petitioner's deceased father, namely, Abdul Ali, arraying him as one of his legal heirs by considering his representation dated 19.11.2024 within the period. 3.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
4.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, Mr.S.Kameshwaran, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's father had two wives and the application was made by the petitioner only in the offline mode, and it is necessary for him to make the same in the online mode. 2/4
5.In view of the same, this Court hereby direct the petitioner to submit an application for grant of a legal heir certificate of his father, namely, Abdul Ali, in the online mode with all necessary documents through the online portal maintained by the respondents, and the respondents, on receipt of the same, are directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and issue a legal heir certificate if the application is otherwise eligible, after putting all the legal heirs on notice.
6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to the costs.
