2. The petitioner has filed this petition seeking permission and police protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 06.02.2021 and 07.02.2021 at Mariamman Kovil Thidal, Gungumapuram, Valavandhan Kottai, Trichy District.

3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation dated 23.01.2021 submitted by the petitioner is yet to be considered by the respondents.

4. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order.
