ORDER
This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.904 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional District Munsif Court - I, Trichy, within the specified time fixed by this Court.
2. It is evident from the records that the first respondent has filed a suit in O.S.No. 904 of 2016 claiming permanent injunction restraining the defendants therein including the revision petitioner and their men from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property either by disconnecting the electric connection or in any manner, whatsoever except under the due process of law.
3. The main contention of the revision petitioner is that the suit is pending for the past five years, that the trial Court without considering the age of the petitioner has been adjourning the case continuously and that therefore, the above case has to be expedited.
4. It is pertinent to mention that the above suit in O.S.No. 904 of 2016 has been filed in the year 2016. The High Court has already issued Circulars to the District Judiciary directing the Courts to give priority for the cases relating to the Senior https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
C.R.P(MD).No. 705 of 2021 Citizens, HIV affected persons, Defence personnel, women and children etc., The revision petitioner without approaching the trial Court has directly approached this Court. In the absence of total pendency particulars and the work burden of that particular Court, this Court is not inclined to give any direction to dispose of the case within the specified period of time.
5. However, the trial Court is required to give priority to the cases, as per the Circulars of the High Court. The learned Judge is directed to consider the request of the revision petitioner, on the ground of Senior Citizenship, for early trial.
6. With the above observation and direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
