This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner from the fourth respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent police. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, since the petitioner and one Anandavel, who belonged to different community loved each other and got married, the father of the petitioner threatened her and her husband. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation on 25.01.2021 to the respondent police seeking police protection. But till now the respondent has not considered the same. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(crl.side)would submit that the petitioner herself appeared before the enquiry officer and made a statement that now no threat is caused by the fourth respondent. On that basis, the representation of the petitioner was closed. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), this Criminal Original petition is closed.
