ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 07.12.2017.

2.Heard Mr.V.P.Rajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that one Nagalakshmi and her husband were working as business correspondents in the petitioner's Bank. They have collected a sum of Rs. 2,26,400/- from the fourteen customers, but, they failed to deposit the same in the Bank. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 07.12.2017, but sofar, no action has been taken.

any complaint and he further submitted that the complaint is still pending for enquiry.

5.It is the case of the petitioner that the said Nagalakshmi and her husband were working as the business correspondents in the petitioner's Bank and that being so, the petitioner is entitled to lodge a complaint. The second respondent has to make preliminary enquiry with regard to the said complaint and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence then, he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law with in a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
