ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 19.01.2018 and 20.01.2018.

2.Heard Mr.S.Satheesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has misplaced the original settlement deed in Thiruppathur bus stand on 19.01.2018. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a compliant on 19.01.2018 and 20.01.2018, before the respondent, but sofar, no action has been taken. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry. If the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence then, he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
