ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 5 in Crime No.101 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police apprehend at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under section 498 (A) of I.P.C r/w section 4 of Tamil Nadu Harassment of Women Act and hence seek anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter came up before this court on 31.08.2015, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was referred to the Mediation and conciliation centre attached to this Bench, for settlement.

3.But a report, dated:12.10.2015 was received from the Mediation centre, wherein it has been stated as follows: "Defacto complainant/respondent and her counsel present. Petitioners were absent. Mediation not succeed".

4.It is seen that by taking advantage of the interim order granted by this court, the petitioners did not appear before the Mediation centre. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Therefore, considering the nature of offence and also considering the above said facts, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
