ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 24.01.2018.

2.Heard Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Prabhu Ramachandran learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is doing textile business at South Masi Street, Madurai. He further submitted that on 28.12.2017, there was some fire accident in the petitioner's shop at about early morning between 01.30 am., and 03.30.am., and in the said fire accident, the textile shop articles worth about Rs.13 lakhs were damaged. He further submitted that subsequently, he has verified CCTV footage and it was found that some persons have put fire and hence, he has lodged a complaint on 24.01.2018 before the second respondent, but sofar, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that complaint is still pending for enquiry.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry. If the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
