ORDER

Seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.425 of 2023 pending on the file of the second respondent police to any other competent authority or CBCID, Ramanathapuram, this criminal original petition is filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, first information report in Crime NO.425 of 2023 was registered on 11.10.2023 by the second respondent police for the offences under Sections 420, 423, 465, 471, 448, 294(b) and 506(2) IPC, 1860. However, so far, there is no progress on the petitioner's complaint. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, submitted that totally there are six accused in this case, out of which, three died and other persons were arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Investigation is almost completed and final report is yet to be filed.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government 2/4

Advocate (crl.side), the second respondent is directed to conclude the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation which is being conducted by the second respondent. The second respondent is also directed to appraise the progress of the investigation every Friday to the first respondent. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
