This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the fifth respondent seeking police protection from the hands of the sixth respondent. However, it is pending on the file of the fifth respondent.

3. Considering the above, the fifth respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the sixth respondent and complete the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
