ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.11.2024 in a speedy way and to take necessary action in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner had lodged complaint stating that she was cheated by one Dhanalakshmi on the pretext that she would perform black magic relieve the petitioner and his wife from the sufferings they had undergone and she had also collected Rs.10 lakhs in cash and further Rs.55 lakhs was taken from the locker deceitfully, which she had admitted to repay the same, but she had not done so, for which a complaint has been lodge, but no action has been taken.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has admitted that it is black magic promise for which no action can be taken. He would further submit that if the petitioner and the said 2/5

Dhanalakshmi appears before the respondent police enquiry would be conducted and the same would be closed.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner and the said Dhanalakshmi are directed to appear before the concerned respondent police who shall conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
