PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2020 for the property comprised in S.F.No. 195/13C Ac.0.06 cents situated at Uppiliyapuram North Village, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.08.2020 and for grant of patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.
2. The petitioner claims that the subject property was purchased through a registered sale deed dated 16.06.2020. According to the petitioner, he is entitled for the issuance of patta and accordingly, a representation was made and since there was no response, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the counsel representing the petitioner died. Hence, this Court went through the records and heard the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.08.2020 by issuing notice to the petitioner, the third respondent and other interested parties and after conducting the enquiry, the second respondent shall take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
