This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.02.2018.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that only after getting necessary permission, the petitioner has transported sand, but the Sub-Inspector of Police, Devadhanapatti Police Station, has seized the petitioner's vehicle and registered a case in Cr.No.14 of 2018 under the Mines Act and subsequently, further action has been dropped. time of seizing the petitioner's vehicle, the said Sub-Inspector of Police has abused the petitioner and also criminally intimidated him and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent, but sofar, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint to the third respondent by post and the same has been forwarded to the second respondent and the same is pending for enquiry.
4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the fourth respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
