ORDER
This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one P.S.Subramanyam executed a Power of Attorney in favour of the petitioner in respect of certain properties and in pursuance of the said Power of Attorney, the petitioner is in possession of the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
property. He has further submitted that respondents 3 to 7 have illegally occupied the said property by creating a forged Patta and hence, the petitioner has filed a petition before the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai, and the same is pending before him. He has further submitted that since the petitioner filed a petition before the Revenue Divisional Officer, respondents 3 to 7 criminally intimidated the petitioner and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 12.02.2018 and based on that no action has been taken and hence, another complaint has been sent to the first respondent on 19.02.2018 and on that complaint also, no action has been taken.
4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) has submitted that after receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.123 of 2018 has been issued and after enquiry it was closed on 13.02.2018, directing the petitioner to get remedy before the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy which is available under the law.
