ORDER
The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the Sports Events from 25.01.2025 to 26.01.2025 in pursuant to the Republic Festival Conducting by Nirathan Village Women Committee by considering by Nirathan Village Women Committee by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2025
2. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there are two groups in the village and First Information Reports have been registered in Crime Nos.193 of 2024 and 194 of 2024 but those FIRs are not related to sports events. 2/5
4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai had issued a circular memorandum in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019 along with instructions to the Inspectors of Police throughout Tamil Nadu for consideration of applications seeking permission for conducting programme. Therefore, in view of the detailed circular and guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, the writ petitioner is directed to file an undertaking affidavit incorporating the date and time of the sports events before the third respondent and on such filing, the third respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 18.01.2025 positively and pass orders imposing necessary conditions based on the above said circular.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
