ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioners/accused 1 and 4 to direct the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District to dispose of the C.C.No.57 of 2013 at the earliest.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are facing trial for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 353 and 506(ii) IPC. He further submitted that the above case is pending from the year 2013 and hence he has requested to direct the concerned Court to dispose of C.C.No.57 of 2013. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that totally seven witnesses have been cited and he requested to fix a reasonable time for disposal of the aforesaid case. 4.Considering the fact that, the above case is pending from the year 2013, the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.57 of 2013 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The respondent is directed to produce the witnesses without seeking unnecessary adjournments and witnesses should be cross examined on the same date without seeking any adjournment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
