ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent not to harass him under the guise of an enquiry.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to the summons issued by the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch Police Station, Sivagangai District and contended that there is an alteration in the date, on which, the petitioner was directed to appear for the enquiry. He would also contend that the second respondent lodged a false complaint against him.

3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that one Sasivaran gave a complaint against the present petitioner. His further contention is that the petitioner promised the said Sasivaran to get a job at Singapore and that subsequently, though Sasivaran had gone over to Singapore, he could not get the job as promised by the petitioner and therefore, he came down to India and lodged a complaint with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1258 of 2021 the first respondent police which is registered in Current Petition No.N4/1958/1312/G2020 and posted for enquiry. 4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the concerned police for enquiry.
