ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents Nos.3 and 4 to lay the Tar Road on the existing mud road branches from South - North Silvarpatti Main Road runs through Survey No.276/3 on its entire stretch upto the road in Survey No. 276/1B situated at Appanampatti, Silvarpatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 05.01.2024.
2. Mrs.K.Christy Thebaral, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation dated 05.01.2024 to the respondents to lay the Tar Road on the existing mud road branches from South - North Silvarpatti Main Road runs through Survey No.276/3 on its entire stretch upto the road in Survey No. 276/1B situated at Appanampatti, Silvarpatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk, Dindigul District. Since the said representation is pending, the 2/5
petitioner has come before this Court. The learned counsel would further submit that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. It is seen that for any type of movement, a road is an important form of infrastructure, hence, the petitioner seeks extension of the road till the agricultural land belonging to him and others. It is further seen that if the road is extended, it will always help to the agriculturists to access their land.
6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.01.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
