ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition seeking for a direction directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli to dispose of the case in C.C.No.280 of 2014 expeditiously within the stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioners, a case has been registered and after due investigation, charge sheet has been filed and the same has also been taken on file in C.C.No.280 of 2014 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli and thereafter, there was no progress in the case and hence, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioners have come up with the present petition seeking the above relief.

3.The Court heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) also.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.280 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelvlei is directed to dispose of C.C.No.280 of 2014, on merits and as per law, as expeditiously as possible.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
