ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed seeking a direction to the the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a sole Proprietor of M/s.M.K.C.Entertainment at Madurai. He was engaged for an exhibition at Madurai situated at Re-Survey Nos.65/1A, 65A and 63/1 to an extent of 4 Acres covered under Patta No.444. The respondent police is interfering with the peaceful conduct of the said exhibition despite the same has been organized after obtaining proper permission from the 2nd respondent police. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that a complaint was sent by the petitioner himself through registered post. Only in this regard, the petitioner was called for enquiry by the 2nd respondent police. The petitioner had duly appeared before 2/4

the 2nd respondent police for enquiry and had given a statement in writing that he had never ever lodged any complaint. It is only his Advocate who had given the complaint without his knowledge.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
