PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam to dispose of the case in MC No.2 of 2016 within the stipulated period. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sivathilakar

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam to dispose of the case in MC No.2 of 2016 within the stipulated period.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending from the year 2016 without any progress.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam to dispose the case pending in M.C.No.2 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
