ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.5 of 2014 within the stipulated time.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered and after due investigation, charge sheet has been filed and the same has also been taken on file in C.C.No.5 of 2014 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai and thereafter, there was no progress in the case and hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition seeking the above relief. 3.The Court heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) also.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.5 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

expedite the trial in C.C.No.5 of 2014 and dispose of the same on merits and as per law, as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
