ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.09.2025, 20.12.2025, and 31.12.2025, and to furnish the Award copy under the RFCTLARR Act, 2013, pertaining to the land acquisition proceedings of the petitioner's Patta land in Town Survey No.5-5/2, Sathamangalam Village, Madurai District, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he is one of the legal heirs of the acquired property. The petitioner's grievance is that he is entitled to receive a portion of the compensation in respect of the acquired land. Although the petitioner made representations to the concerned authority, a copy of the Award has not been provided to him.

4. Considering the above submissions, the petitioner is permitted to file an application seeking a certified copy of the Award. Upon receipt of such application and payment of the requisite costs to the Department, the petitioner shall be furnished with the certified copy of the Award within a period of four weeks.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
