O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner received in CSR.No.18/2018 dated 25.01.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a complaint to the respondent police against the proposed accused on 25.01.2018. But no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) on instructions, would submit that the petitioner made a submission before the respondent police by stating that she is going to approach the Civil Court seeking remedy with regard to the issue involved in the said complaint. Therefore, no further proceedings is required in the complaint preferred by the petitioner. Hence, the respondent police closed the said complaint.

5. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
