Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1, 3 and 4 to take apt steps to conduct the festival with "Kumba Bhavani" rituals by the petitioner and his family members in their family temple namely Sree Bhadreswari Amman Temple Arasancode situated at Survey No.335/2A2, Ezhudesam 'C' Village, Kanyakumari District and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 5 to give adequate police protection to conduct the festival and Kumba Bhavani by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2022.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The relief sought for cannot be granted by the writ Court. The issue raised in the writ petition necessarily requires taking evidence. The function has to be held on 29.01.2023. At this stage, it is not possible for this Court to go into the matter.
