PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records in detention order passed in P.D.O.No.89/2019, dated 11.12.2019, on the file of the second respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son namely Dineshkumar, son of Thirumalai, male, aged 21 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, before this Court and set him at liberty. (Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the mother of the detenu, namely, Dineshkumar, son of Thirumalai, aged 21 years, challenging the detention order in P.D.O.No.89/2019, dated 11.12.2019, passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.490, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 29.01.2020, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.
3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
