ORDER
This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his grandson.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's daughter Mushbira married one Jiyavudeen in the year 2001 and out of the said wedlock, one child, namely, Mohamed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Nowfal was born and subsequently, the petitioner's daughter abandoned the said Mohamed Nowfal and now she is living with the third respondent and the third respondent also already married another lady. He has further submitted that the third respondent is now pressurizing the petitioner to hand over the minor child, namely, Mohamed Nowfal and hence, he seeks police protection.
4. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) has submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint on 02.02.2018 and the same is still pending before the second respondent.
5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
