Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 4th respondent pertaining to his order in Ka.No.U.Po/Vi/Ka.Vilai/Ka.Thani/No. 375/08-09 dated 06/09/08 onl his file, quash the sasme directing the respondents to pay the petitioiners an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh) with interest at the rate of twelve per cent per annum thereon for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the period from 31/10/2002 till the date of payment , for the accidental death of the petitioners son Syed Mohammed, on 31/10/2002, within a time to be fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.U.RAMANATHAN, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- (Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble The Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the appellants states that the appellants are willing to pay as sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the respondents and as the controversy confines to the balance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- the appellants are ready to deposit the same before this court. 2.
In view of the aforesaid stand and since that amount is stated not to have been paid, it is directed that a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- should be paid to the respondents 1 and 2, within a period of fifteen days from today and the balance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- be deposited in court, to be kept in a fixed deposit, initially, for a period of 91 days and to be renewed periodically, so that the accrued interest be available for the benefit of the succeeding party.
3.The application stands disposed of.
