ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct survey and demarcate the petitioner's land measuring an extent of 3.50 Ares in S.No.627/10A situated at Senkottai Melur Village, Pudhur Town Panchayat, Senkottai Taluk, Tenkasi District with suitable Police Protection, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is hereby dispensed with.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in question and that an application dated 13.06.2025 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said property. Since no action has been taken by the second respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners, appropriate steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 13.06.2025 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner, the fifth respondent and the owners of adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the revenue officials may seek
assistance from the fourth respondent Police, if Police assistance is required while carrying out such survey. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs. NCC : Yes / No (K.SURENDER, J.)
