ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's land survey petitions dated 22.02.2021 and 22.12.2025, requesting the survey of the petitioner's land within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2/6

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the subject property and the patta for the same stands in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner submitted an application dated 22.02.2021 seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the said property and also made a representation on 22.12.2025. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.02.2021 and the representation dated 22.12.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner's property after consideration of the claims of all parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil 3/6

Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the Civil Court. It is needless to state that before surveying the land, notice shall be issued to the adjacent landowners and other interested parties, if any.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
