ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos. 80/9C and 80/10B in Pulikurichi Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the Application No.2025/0123/26/012575 dated 23.12.2025, within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property in question and that the application seeking survey and demarcation of its boundaries is pending without any progress.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

6. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 23.12.2025 and demarcate the petitioner's land, after considering the claims of the petitioner, the third respondent and any other rival parties, if any, and to pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
