By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
2. The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to celebrate 'Thai Guru Pooja' at Telugu Kulalar Thirumana Mandapam on 05.02.2021.
3. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who accepts notice for the respondents, on instructions, would contend that there are two rival groups and that both of them have submitted their representations to the third respondent to grant permission to them to perform 'Thai Guru Pooja' at Telugu Kulalar Thirumana Mandapam on 05.02.2021 and both of them were advised to settle their issues amicably through a competent Civil Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

At this juncture, Mr.V.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned counsel for Kongu Kulalar Samudhaya Sangam intervened and contended that a suit filed by the present petitioner was dismissed by this Court in SA.No.1215 of 1999 on 27.08.2019 and that the petitioner without stating the said facts has filed the present writ petition.

In the facts and circumstances, this Court without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in his representation or in his affidavit direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 18.01.2021 submitted by the petitioner after giving due notice to Kongu Kulalar Samudhaya Sangam and decide the matter strictly on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order.
6. With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
