ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.88 of 2018 on the file of the first Respondent.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had been arrayed as Accused No.9 in Crime No.88 of 2018 dated 18.05.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(1), 379 of IPC on the file of the first Respondent. Further, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had approached the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karambakudi seeking final report regarding the case in Crime No. 88 of 2018. The copy application was returned stating that no final report had been filed by the Investigation Officer of the Karambakudi Police Station in Crime No.88 of 2018. Therefore, he seeks to quash the FIR in Crime No.88 of 2018 pending on the file of the first Respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions of the first Respondent would submit that on investigation it was found that the Petitioner herein was not found in the place of occurrence and at the time of occurrence. Therefore, his name was deleted in the final report. 2/4

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
