Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to cancel the Property Tax Assessment made in Assessment No.086/011/01396 for the house property in Door No.124A, Ward No.11, Block No.15, Town Survey No.2621/2 at North Street, Malaikottai, Trichy in the name of the second respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2022, within the period as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to cancel the Property Tax Assessment made in Assessment No.086/011/01396 for the house property in Door No.124A, Ward No.11, Block No.15, Town Survey No.2621/2 at North Street, Malaikottai, Trichy in the name of the second respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2022.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent submits that appropriate orders will be passed on the representation, dated 06.01.2022 by the petitioner. Therefore, dispensing the notice on the second respondent, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation, dated 06.01.2022 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. It is needless to state that the interest of the second respondent and other persons who may have interest in the property https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.1257 of 2022 shall be taken care of by issuing appropriate notice to them and be further heard before appropriate orders are passed.

4. Therefore, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
