ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the respondent to re-issue the petitioner's passport. 1/4
2. The petitioner was issued with the aforesaid passport and the validity of the passport expired on 21.04.2026. During the subsistence of the passport, the petitioner had submitted an application dated 15.07.2025 seeking re-issuance of the passport.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he is entitled to the re-issuance of the passport, the respondent has not taken any steps to process the said application.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's application would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above submission, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
