PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 27 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.04.2019 in C.C.No.375 of 2019 on the file of Special Court for EC and NDPS Cases, Madurai, seeks bail. 2.It is not in dispute that in the earlier occasion, in Crl.O.P (MD)No.8394 of 2021, this Court vide order dated 28.06.2021, has directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Subsequently, at the request of learned trial Judge, this Court on 20.12.2021 has granted three more months time to complete the trial and dispose of the case from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that despite this Court's directions, there is no progress in the trial. Hence he seeks bail.

4.Since this Court directed the trial Court to dispose the case within a period of three months, vide order dated 20.12.2021, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court for bail after the completion of three months, if the trial is not completed. The trial Court is directed to complete the trial and disposed the case, within the time limit stipulated by this Court. 5.With the above directions, this petition is disposed of.
