Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose the Appeal No.Na.Ka.A4/7403/2019 in respect of the Survey Nos. 139/20 and 139/30 in Elaikadividuthi Village, Thirumanjeri Post, Karambakkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.
For Petitioner :

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a limited relief of a direction to dispose of the Appeal No.Na.Ka.A4/7403/2019, on the file of the respondent.
2. The petitioner's grievance is that though appeal was filed, seeking cancellation of patta, as early in September, 2020, challenging the order of the Tahsildar, dated 17.12.2019, the respondent has not disposed of the said appeal, in spite of passage of five years.
3. Considering the pendency of the appeal right from September, 2020, I deem it fit to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal, pending on his file, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 04.02.2025 NCC :
