PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2021 for survey and demarcation of the petitioner's land in S.No.359/1, measuring 75 sq.metres comprised in Natham Patta No. 784, Kovathakudi Village, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District. With a grievance that the petitioner's application, dated 19.04.2021 for survey of her land has not been considered by the respondents, she has filed this writ petition. 2.Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that when the respondents went to the spot in the month of January 2022, there was some objections from the villagers. Therefore, the survey could not be completed.

3.Considering the rival submissions made and considering that the application submitted by the petitioner in the year 2021 has not been considered so far, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Survey Officer to conduct an enquiry under Section 10(1) of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 after issuing notice to the adjacent land 2/4
