ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 294(b), 341, 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, in Cr.No.34 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 24.01.2019 at about 6.15 p.m. when the victim girl returned to home from college the petitioner way laid the victim girl and abused her in filthy language and forced her to love him. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and they did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. There was a civil dispute between two families, for which the defacto complainant lodged the false complaint.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the State would submit that investigation is still pending. The petitioner have bad antecedents and he forced the victim girl to love him. Moreover, he threatened her, if she not do so, he will kill her. Hence, he vehemently opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact and circumstances of the case and the gravity of offence and in order to avoid this type of illegal threatening against the girls, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
