Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 15.10.2018 pending before the second respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
Heard Mr.C.Gangai Amaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. It appears that an appeal is pending before the second respondent / the Revenue Divisional Officer, Devakottai Revenue Division, Devakottai, Sivagangai District and the petitioner claims that it is pending from 15.10.2018.
3. However, Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, pointed out that Marine Harvesters Private Company Limited are the purchasers of the property, which is situated in Survey https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD).No.1334 of 2022 No.628/2 measuring 3.91.5 hectares. There are some disputes between the petitioner and the said company / Directors of the said company. The appeal in that regard is now pending before the second respondent. It is also informed by the learned Special Government Pleader that notice had been directed and the next hearing date is on 01.02.2022.
4. Let the inquiry proceed in manner known to law. But, it is complained by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the appeal is pending for the past three (3) years. Therefore, a direction is given to the second respondent to proceed in manner known to law, but, devote his attention to dispose of the appeal on or before 30.04.2022.
5. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
