O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by the son of a deceased Village Administrative Officer, seeking a mandamus as against the respondents to grant compassionate appointment, based upon his educational qualification.

2. The petitioner's father who was working as Village Administrative Officer had passed away while he was in service on 07.05.2024. The petitioner has made application on 03.10.2024, seeking compassionate appointment. The petitioner has also enclosed all the certificates along with the application. The said application was submitted to the third respondent and he had forwarded and recommended the same to the second respondent on 04.11.2024. However, so far, the no orders have been passed by the second respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the proposal submitted by the third respondent on 04.11.2024, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
