This petition has been filed to withdraw the case H.M.O.P.No. 1241 of 2023 on the file of Sub - Ordinate Judge, Ambattur, Chennai District to transfer the same to on file of Family Court, 1/4

Ramanathapuram, Ramanathapuram District for adjudication. 2.The facts in brief:

The marriage was solemnized between the parties on 30.10.2022. At the time of marriage, the petitioner was given with sufficient sreethanas. But, thereafter, the respondent and his family members demanded more dowry from the petitioner. Hence, dispute was arose between them. Therefore, the above said HMOP proceedings was initiated by the respondent. Since the petitioner is unable to attend the above said proceedings, she seeks transfer of the same. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Even though the respondent was served with notice, none appears on behalf of him. His name was also printed in the cause list.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the convenience of the wife, the H.M.O.P.No.1241 of 2023 filed by the respondent on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Ambattur, Chennai, is ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court, 2/4

Ramanathapuram.

5.Accordingly, this transfer civil miscellaneous petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 28.03.2024 NCC :
