ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 30.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner's first son namely, Karthikeyan was murdered by the proposed accused and hence in respect of the said offence a case has been registered in Cr.No.82 of 2016 by the second respondent and charge sheet also filed. Now the case is pending before the Mahila Court, Pudukottai and that being so on 24.01.2018, the petitioner has received a phone call and based on that he went to Muthandipatti Village to purchase the firewood and at the time the proposed accused and another person came and offered Rs.50,000/- directing the petitioner not to give evidence against him and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent, but sofar, no action has been taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that after receipt of the complaint, the second respondent conducted preliminary enquiry and found that the alleged occurrence took place within Sengipatti Police Station, Thanjavur District, and hence, the said complaint has been forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur and hence, he requests before this Court to direct the petitioner to approach the Sengipatti Police Station.

4.Considering the aforesaid submission, the petitioner is directed to approach the Sengipatti Police Station and co-operate for enquiry.

5.With the aforesaid observation, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
