ORDER

This quash petition is filed to call for the records in S.T.C.No.292 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District and quash the same. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that there is an incriminating material to attract the charges as against the petitioner. Therefore, this Court finds that there is no merit in the petition to quash the case in S.T.C.No.292 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District and it cannot be quashed on its threshold. Hence, this criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed.

4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, considering the year of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District is directed to complete the entire trial proceedings within a period of six months https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to raise all the grounds before the trial Court. The personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with, except the dates of hearing, on which, the learned Judicial Magistrate insisted upon the petitioner to appear before the Court.
