Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to accept the document for registration vide Temporary No.TP/239484637/2025 dated 27.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner herein and consequently direct the respondent herein to register and release the Sale Deed vide Temporary No. TP/239484637/2025 dated 27.11.2025 within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to accept the document for registration vide Temporary No.TP/239484637/2025, dated 27.11.2025, submitted by the petitioner and to direct the respondent to 1/4

register and release the Sale Deed vide Temporary No.TP/239484637/2025, dated 27.11.2025.

2. Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent on either sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner intends to purchase the subject property from one Narayanan and when sale deed dated 19.11.2025 to that effect was presented before the respondent, they refused to accept the same. Hence, this Writ Petition.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that if the sale is presented by the petitioner, the same will be accepted by the respondent and appropriate decision will be taken in respect of registration of the document.

6. I have given due consideration to the submissions made on either sides.

7. In view of the submissions made on either sides, the petitioner is directed to present the sale deed before the respondent for registration. On such presentation, the respondent shall proceed to register the sale deed, if it is otherwise in order. If there is any objection, the respondent shall issue due notice to the petitioner and the objector, provide an opportunity of hearing and thereafter, proceed to register the sale deed, if it is otherwise in order.
